Leeds United And H… Match Club’s Demands For…

Leeds United and Hull City have reportedly matched the conditions set by Crystal Palace for the loan of their winger Jesurun Rak-Sakyi, according to Sky Sports News.

Both clubs are in need of reinforcements following the departure of key players; Leeds United lost Crysencio Summerville to West Ham, and Hull City saw Jaden Philogene move to Aston Villa earlier in the summer.

Rak-Sakyi, who impressed during his loan spell at Charlton Athletic last season with 24 goal contributions in 49 games, has attracted interest from several clubs.

While Sheffield United is currently leading the race to secure the 21-year-old, Leeds and Hull have also met Crystal Palace’s demands.

These include a loan fee exceeding £1 million and full coverage of the player’s wages.

Leeds United are particularly keen on strengthening their attacking options.

They are pursuing Jonathan Rowe from Norwich City but remain open to signing another forward, even if the Rowe deal materializes.

Despite Leeds and Hull meeting Palace’s terms, Sheffield United remains the favorite to secure Rak-Sakyi, likely due to their willingness to meet the financial requirements and perhaps offering better sporting prospects.

Moreover, Crystal Palace intends to include a recall option in any loan agreement for Rak-Sakyi, ensuring they can bring the player back if needed during the season.

As clubs finalize their squads ahead of the transfer deadline, the competition for Rak-Sakyi’s signature is intensifying, with Sheffield United seemingly in the strongest position to close the deal.
