Jos Verstappen Criticizes Red Bull and Christian Horner Amid Team’s Struggles Against McLaren

In a surprising turn of events, Jos Verstappen has publicly voiced his concerns over Red Bull Racing’s recent performance struggles, specifically criticizing team principal Christian Horner and questioning the team’s decisions. In an interview with German outlet Bild, he called on Horner to take immediate action to address the situation. “You can’t sugarcoat it anymore, the situation is serious,” he said. “Max won’t be satisfied with having a car like that. Jos also criticized Horner’s decision to reuse car parts from earlier in the season, a move he believes contributed to the team’s poor performance. “The display was not surprising given the questionable decision,” he remarked. Moreover, he implied that the departure of Adrian Newey, Red Bull’s legendary car designer, had dealt a severe blow to the team’s competitiveness. “The team took the wrong turn several times,” he continued. “Internally, you should hold a mirror up to yourself and not always gloss over everything. It is time, if it is not already too late, to question ourselves. The good people are leaving the team. I’m very unhappy with what’s happening.”
