One of the most prominent figures in Formula 1 has made a surprising announcement regarding his retirement just days ahead of the Mexican Grand Prix at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez. This revelation adds excitement to what is already a highly anticipated race, the 20th of the 2024 F1 season.

 

As the championship race heats up, Max Verstappen is determined to widen his lead over Lando Norris, having increased his advantage to 57 points after the recent Texas Grand Prix. Both Verstappen and his Red Bull teammate, Sergio Perez, are eager to narrow the constructors’ championship gap to McLaren, who have recently taken the lead.
