F1 Star Nico Hulkenberg Absent from Qatar Grand Prix Media Duties Due to Illness
Ahead of the highly anticipated Qatar Grand Prix at the Lusail International Circuit, Haas driver Nico Hulkenberg has been sidelined from pre-race media duties due to illness. The team issued an official statement, explaining the precautionary decision to prioritize Hulkenberg’s recovery ahead of the weekend. “Nico will be missing media day due to a cold, therefore he has no availability for today,” the team stated. “This is purely a preventative measure ahead of the weekend.”
Despite his absence from media activities, it is expected that Hulkenberg will be fit to return to action when the first practice session (FP1) begins on Friday. The Qatar Grand Prix marks an important milestone for Hulkenberg, as it will be his final race in Qatar representing Haas.
