Point guard Ja Morant of the Memphis Grizzlies appeared to have imitated the incorrect kind of shooting motion on Tuesday during an overtime victory over the New Orleans Pelicans.
With 13.1 seconds remaining, the Grizzlies guard stunned the crowd at Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, with an alley-oop slam that put Memphis ahead 115-109. On the road, the visitors managed to hold on for the 116-115 triumph.
The celebration was reminiscent of Gilbert Arenas infamously flashing finger guns following his own gun-related suspension during the 2009-10 season
Arenas noticed what appeared to be a finger gun motion made by Morant. Reposting the celebration on X, the former Washington Wizards guard included a GIF of Andre Iguodala, a Golden State Warriors veteran, berating Andrew Wiggins.
