Just In: Horner drops Red Bull exit BOMBSHELL Amid…read more

Christian Horner, the team principal of Red Bull Racing, has made a bold statement about the future of one of the team’s standout drivers, igniting speculation about potential changes within the squad. Red Bull has been in the spotlight recently due to significant driver movements, including the promotion of Liam Lawson to the senior team as Sergio Perez’s replacement and the advancement of Isack Hadjar to Lawson’s former seat at VCARB, Red Bull’s junior team.

Hadjar, a rising star, will join forces with Yuki Tsunoda at VCARB for the 2025 season, marking Tsunoda’s fifth year with the junior program. While Tsunoda has showcased impressive talent and outperformed teammates such as Nyck de Vries, Daniel Ricciardo, and Lawson in previous seasons, he has yet to secure a coveted seat with the senior Red Bull team.

Many had hoped Tsunoda’s consistent performances would earn him a spot alongside Max Verstappen in the Red Bull Racing lineup. However, his prolonged tenure at VCARB has cast uncertainty over his future within the organization.

In a recent interview, Horner hinted that Tsunoda’s career with Red Bull could reach a turning point if he doesn’t move up to the senior team in 2025. “You can’t have a driver in the support team for five years. You can’t always be the bridesmaid,” Horner said, emphasizing that keeping Tsunoda in a junior role indefinitely is unsustainable. He further noted that Red Bull must either promote Tsunoda or allow him to seek opportunities elsewhere.

Horner’s remarks highlight the immense pressure on Tsunoda to secure a promotion to the senior team. Despite his strong form, his future underscores the harsh realities of Formula 1, where only the most exceptional talents are rewarded with long-term roles at top teams.

For Tsunoda, the 2025 season will be pivotal. He must continue to deliver outstanding performances to prove his worth as a Red Bull Racing contender or risk being released to explore options with other teams. Horner’s comments have set the stage for a critical period in Tsunoda’s career, with the stakes higher than ever.
