According to the Evening Standard, Fulham has now joined Everton, Nottingham Forest, and Crystal Palace in the competition to sign Jhon Cordoba, a striker for Krasnodar.

On January 22, the news site revealed that a £7 million buyout option will be included in any contract to recruit the 30-year-old.

With 11 goals in 20 league games this season, the Colombian international is in good form.

In their current financial predicament, Everton does not need to engage in a transfer war with three other Premier League teams.

Clubs may be willing to offer specific perks, even if it’s on loan, to sway the agreement in their favor.

Although Cordoba is having a good season, Sean Dyche is not trying to enhance the striker position right now because Cordoba is an all-around striker.

The team helped him sign Beto in the summer, and he’s been a capable backup to Dominic Calvert-Lewin ever since.

Even though the Toffees striker hasn’t been scoring as many goals as he used to, Cordoba isn’t necessarily an improvement over the England international.

During the January transfer window, a wide attacker, a midfielder, and possibly defensive reinforcements are more important than a new striker.
