Breaking news:$30M DJ Martin Garrix’s post featuring Lando Norris and Daniel Ricciardo goes viral…… readmore

DJ Martin Garrix has shared a post on Instagram featuring McLaren F1 driver Lando Norris and former F1 driver Daniel Ricciardo. Norris and Ricciardo were teammates for two years at the Woking-based outfit in 2021 and 2022 before the Aussie was dropped in favor of Oscar Piastri

Since then, Norris has signed a contract extension with the British team and led it to its first constructor’s championship in 26 years in 2024. On the other hand, Ricciardo has found himself out of the sport after RB dropped him at the end of the 2024 Singapore Grand Prix.

Garrix, who has a net worth of $30 million and shares a friendly bond with Norris and Ricciardo along with Max Verstappen, shared a post regarding his memories from 2024, which featured an image of him alongside the two F1 drivers from January 2024. The post has gone viral and garnered over 285k likes and is captioned:

Started off the year strong in Australia with the boys.”

Last year, Daniel Ricciardo spoke about the trip and shared that Lando Norris visited his farm in Perth.

When Daniel Ricciardo delved into his friendship with Lando Norris

Former F1 driver Daniel Ricciardo said in a quick-fire interview with F1.com in 2024 that he and Lando Norris took some time to develop a bond during their first year as teammates at McLaren:

Lando [Norris] is one where like, our first year at McLaren, it definitely took us a little bit of time to probably get to know each other and warm to each other a bit. It’s probably no secret that it took us a little bit to become, let’s say, mates.”

“But Lando visited Perth and came out to my farm in January. He was traveling a bit and he was like, ‘Can I come and visit for a few days?’ I was like, ‘Sure.’ It’s kind of nice just hanging out with him,” Daniel Ricciardo added.

The former Red Bull driver said he was “happy” for his ex-teammate after he won his first race in Miami last year (via RacingNews365):

“I’m genuinely very happy for the kid. As a teammate, obviously, you get to know them a little bit better. I got to know Lando well and you have a bit of a closer connection. I’ve got to spend some time with him. I like the kid. I think a lot of us felt it was a matter of time until he was able to have a day like this.”

Norris joined other F1 drivers in Singapore, Ricciardo’s final race, in giving him a send-off.
