Formula 1 has recently announced a contract extension for the Belgian Grand Prix on a rotational basis, raising questions about the future of other European races, particularly the Italian Grands Prix. Currently, the F1 calendar includes two races in Italy: the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix at Imola and the Italian Grand Prix at Monza. In light of this, F1 CEO Stefano Domenicali has suggested that the Emilia Romagna race may also be included in a rotational model similar to that of the Belgian Grand Prix.
