Lewis Hamilton took to the track today for Ferrari as the seven-time world champion began testing ahead of the 2025 Formula 1 season. The session, held at Ferrari’s iconic Fiorano circuit, marks the continuation of Hamilton’s much-anticipated partnership with the Scuderia following his high-profile move from Mercedes.

Donning Ferrari’s signature red for the second time since his debut with the team earlier this month, Hamilton was seen behind the wheel of the SF-23, a car designed for the 2023 season, as part of the team’s preparation program. This session allowed him to familiarize himself further with Ferrari’s driving setup and provide feedback for the development of the 2025 car, set to be unveiled in February.

Hamilton’s move to Ferrari has been one of the biggest talking points in Formula 1, and his presence at the Fiorano circuit drew attention from fans and media alike. Reflecting on the experience, Hamilton said, “Testing with Ferrari has been an incredible experience so far. Every lap brings me closer to understanding this team and how we can work together to achieve success.”

The testing session also provided Ferrari an opportunity to integrate Hamilton into their operational processes alongside teammate Charles Leclerc, who is also expected to play a significant role in Ferrari’s championship ambitions.

Ferrari Team Principal Frederic Vasseur expressed optimism about the early testing phase, stating, “Having Lewis onboard has been a game-changer for us. His experience, feedback, and drive to win are already influencing the team in a positive way. We are focused on building a competitive package for the upcoming season.”

As Ferrari continues its preparations for 2025, fans are eagerly anticipating how Hamilton’s arrival will shape the team’s fortunes. With a competitive field and rivals like Red Bull, McLaren, and Mercedes also vying for dominance, Hamilton’s first season with Ferrari promises to be a thrilling chapter in F1 history.
