Moore was a quarterback in the NFL who was a member of the Dallas Cowboys and Detroit Lions. Before Tua Tagovailoa joined the NFL in 2020, he was the last quarterback to play in the left hand. Regretfully, the fracture of his right fibula brought an end to his playing career. Eventually, he gave up playing. Following the retirement of longtime quarterbacks coach Wade Wilson in 2018, Moore started working as a coach for the Cowboys.

After Jason Garrett’s dismissal from the Cowboys in 2019, Moore was promoted to offensive coordinator, where he lasted until 2022. After the Cowboys playoff elimination against the 49ers, Moore and the Cowboys eventually split ways.

Along with third-year head coach Brandon Staley, Moore was hired by the Los Angeles Chargers. The Chargers finished the 2023 season with a 5-12 record, and Staley was fired following a disappointing loss to the Raiders in week 15. Fast forward to the upcoming 2024 season, when Kellen Moore, a talented play-caller with extensive offensive running experience as a Heisman finalist, joined the Philadelphia Eagles as offensive coordinator, working alongside head coach Nick Sirianni.

It should be a wonderful year for the Birds in 2024!
