Red Bull F1 Boss Expresses Concerns Over Yuki Tsunoda’s Pe….read more.

Red Bull Racing’s top management has raised concerns about the future of Yuki Tsunoda in Formula 1, hinting at uncertainty surrounding the Japanese driver’s long-term place within the Red Bull driver program. Despite showing flashes of talent, Tsunoda’s inconsistency on race weekends has become a point of discussion within the team.

Team advisor Helmut Marko, known for his straightforward assessments, recently admitted that while Tsunoda has improved in some areas, his emotional outbursts and lack of composure during races remain a concern. “He’s quick, no doubt,” said Marko, “but we need drivers who can consistently deliver under pressure. That’s something Yuki still needs to work on.”

Currently racing for RB (formerly AlphaTauri), Tsunoda is in his fourth season in F1. He has shown notable progress compared to his early days, particularly in qualifying pace and tire management. However, with young talents such as Liam Lawson and Ayumu Iwasa waiting in the wings, the competition for a future Red Bull seat is more intense than ever.

Tsunoda’s performance in the upcoming races will be closely monitored, especially as the team evaluates options for 2026 and beyond. While he remains a fan favorite and a marketing asset in Japan, Red Bull’s focus is squarely on performance and potential.

With Max Verstappen’s future also a subject of speculation, Red Bull is carefully planning its next moves. For Tsunoda, the next few races could be critical in securing his place on the F1 grid.
