The stage is set for Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series showdown at Kansas Speedway, with Kyle Larson taking pole position for the AdventHealth 400. The Hendrick Motorsports driver clocked the fastest lap in Saturday’s qualifying session, posting a time of 29.391 seconds to secure his first pole of the 2025 season.

Larson narrowly edged out Chris Buescher and Christopher Bell, who will start second and third respectively. This front-row dominance sets the tone for what promises to be a thrilling race at Kansas.

Strong Performances and Early Drama

Tyler Reddick will start from fourth on the grid despite technical inspection troubles. His car failed inspection twice, a mishap that will likely cost his team a crew member and their pit selection for the race. Still, Reddick’s pace in qualifying keeps him in contention at the front of the pack.

Joey Logano, fresh off a win last weekend, will begin Sunday’s race from fifth position. He continues to show strong momentum as the season progresses.

Also starting within the top 10 are Ty Gibbs (6th), William Byron (7th), Daniel Suarez (8th), Chase Elliott (9th), and Ryan Blaney (10th). With this group of heavy hitters at the front, expect plenty of wheel-to-wheel action right from the green flag.

Midfield Shuffle and Notable Names

Just outside the top 10, Michael McDowell will line up 11th, followed by Justin Haley in 12th. Austin Cindric, Denny Hamlin, and Bubba Wallace round out the top 15.

Legacy Motor Club teammates Erik Jones and John Hunter Nemechek will start from 16th and 17th respectively, while rookie Zane Smith takes 18th on the grid. Chase Briscoe (19th) and Austin Dillon (20th) complete the top 20.

Further down the order, some big names will be hoping to make moves through the field. Alex Bowman (21st), Ross Chastain (26th), and Kyle Busch (35th) all have ground to make up if they want to contend for a top finish.
