In a major development following last weekend’s dramatic Grand Prix, the FIA has announced further disciplinary action against Max Verstappen after an on-track incident that sparked widespread debate. The incident occurred during Lap 42 of the race when Verstappen made an aggressive move on Mercedes driver George Russell, leading to minor contact and damage to both cars.
