Ferrari has officially confirmed that Lewis Hamilton will not be parting ways with the team, despite growing speculation over his disappointing start to the 2025 Formula 1 season.

Rumors had swirled around the paddock suggesting Hamilton may step back or even exit early due to a lack of competitiveness and visible frustration with the SF-25’s performance. However, team principal Frédéric Vasseur has shut down the speculation, reinforcing Ferrari’s full support for the seven-time world champion.

“Lewis is fully committed, and we are fully committed to Lewis,” Vasseur said in a statement. “This season is about building, learning, and preparing for long-term success together.”

Hamilton, who joined the Scuderia from Mercedes in a landmark move, has yet to find his rhythm in the iconic red car. While teammate Charles Leclerc has claimed multiple podiums, Hamilton has struggled with grip and rear-end instability—issues Ferrari is actively working to resolve ahead of the Canadian Grand Prix.

Despite frustrations, Hamilton has stated he has no intention of retiring and remains focused on helping Ferrari challenge for titles under the upcoming 2026 regulations.

With upgrades planned and the full backing of the team, Hamilton’s time with Ferrari is far from over.
