Hamilton Urged to Tread Carefully as Ferrari Worries Surface Over B…read more

Lewis Hamilton’s highly anticipated switch to Ferrari for the 2025 Formula 1 season has sparked fresh concerns, with insiders issuing a stark warning to the seven-time world champion: proceed with caution.

While the move has been hailed as one of the most sensational driver transfers in F1 history, fresh reports suggest not everyone in the Ferrari camp is entirely comfortable with what lies ahead. Sources close to the Italian squad have revealed underlying fears that Hamilton’s arrival could disrupt team dynamics and place enormous strain on their existing structure.

“There’s huge excitement, but also real anxiety,” a senior figure within Ferrari reportedly shared. “Bringing in a megastar like Hamilton raises expectations to an almost unmanageable level. The team will be under relentless pressure to deliver him a title-winning car right from the start.”

Hamilton, now 40 by the time he joins Ferrari, will be seeking to add an unprecedented eighth world title to his glittering resume. But analysts caution that Ferrari’s track record in the turbo-hybrid era is patchy at best, with persistent operational errors and car development missteps haunting their campaigns.

British F1 pundit Martin Brundle added his voice to the concerns, warning Hamilton that Maranello might not be the miracle solution he’s hoping for. “It’s a huge gamble,” Brundle remarked. “Ferrari’s capacity for political turbulence is well known. Lewis will have to navigate a very different environment compared to Mercedes’ meticulous, data-driven culture.”

There are also whispers of unease surrounding Charles Leclerc, Ferrari’s current star, who has been the team’s undisputed number one. How Leclerc and Hamilton will coexist  especially if championship stakes tighten  is already fueling speculation.

As Hamilton prepares for his final season with Mercedes, eyes across the paddock will remain fixed on how Ferrari evolves its package. For Hamilton, the allure of driving in Ferrari red may be irresistible, but the risks tied to the move could ultimately define the final chapter of his legendary career.
