Mike McDaniel of the Dolphins described the loss against the Titans as “humbling” but believes it will serve as a unifying force for the team as they approach the final stretch of the season.

The Tennessee Titans’ remarkable comeback in the late stages of the game was facilitated by the assistance from their opponent.

The Miami Dolphins provided ample opportunities for Tennessee to seize the victory on Monday night. From early mistakes in the red zone, including a fumble by Tua Tagovailoa, to the defense being exploited by rookie Will Levis in the late stages, and the offense failing to secure first downs to close out the game, the 28-27 loss was a collective failure.

Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel acknowledged the shared responsibility for the defeat, stating after the game, as per the team’s official transcript, “We all bear some of the blame.”

Although Miami capitalized on two fourth-quarter turnovers by the Titans to establish a 27-13 lead with less than 5:00 remaining, they faltered by conceding two quick touchdowns, and their offense faltered when it mattered most, ultimately leading to their defeat.
