SAD NEWS FOR THE CARDINALS:HE IS BACK….

Following the Cardinals’ defeat to the Rams on Monday night, Kyler Murray’s postgame press conference stood out for a couple of reasons. Firstly, he entered while still in his uniform and rather promptly, a departure from the quarterback’s usual lengthy postgame wait. Secondly, he appeared upbeat.

Even in some of the Cardinals’ victories, Murray has shown irritation over various aspects that didn’t meet his standards, which is understandable given his pursuit of football perfection. Hence, I inquired on Wednesday whether his positivity after the loss was genuine or if he felt it necessary to convey a positive message.

Unsurprisingly, Murray affirmed its authenticity, stating that he doesn’t feign emotions.

“I genuinely felt that way,” Murray asserted. “You know me, I’ll come in pissed off, I’ll come in sad, mad, whatever it is. I felt like there was no reason for us to be discouraged about what happened. That game, that’s a playoff game. We haven’t been in the playoffs, but we know that feeling; Monday night, everyone watching, we know that’s what it is going to be like, best of the best. When you want to get to where we want to get to, you have to go through the best.

“We got beat that night but we played hard as hell. We had some unfortunate plays go not our way, but at the end of the day, it’s nothing to be down about.”
