With 156 career starts, he won 26 races, secured 84 Top-10 finishes, and claimed 32 pole positions. Lorenzen also won the 1965 Daytona 500 and achieved his best championship finish in the 1963 NASCAR season, placing third while racing for Holman Moody Racing, Wood Brothers Racing, and McKinney.
