A young Nice star is being pursued by Manchester United.

Fabrizio Romano claims that Manchester United intends to spend money on a new central defender in 2024 and that they are closely monitoring Jean Clair Todibo. The 23-year-old center back has been outstanding recently, and clubs all across Europe are quite interested in hiring him.

Early in his career, Todibo signed with Barcelona, but he struggled to make an impact for the Spanish team. Throughout his tenure in Spain, the 23-year-old was subject to numerous loan transfers until joining Nice in the winter of 2021. Although it was initially a loan agreement, the relocation became permanent the following summer.

Since joining Nice, the French international has gotten stronger and stronger. He has participated in 108 games overall and has even assisted on three goals. He has established himself as their team’s cornerstone over the last 18 months.
