Adding a fierce midfielder and Prem defense in January will finish

Two specific transfer targets that Liverpool is known to be interested in have been urged to sign, and a deal is reportedly in the works for one of them.

After improving their poor midfield in the summer, the Reds are once again a title contender. During the previous season, the engine room was without a doubt Liverpool’s weakest component and consistently let Jurgen Klopp’s team down.

Wataru Endo, Ryan Gravenberch, Dominik Szoboszlai, and Alexis Mac Allister have revitalized Liverpool’s midfield.

The advantages are clear to see, as Liverpool is now a formidable pressing force and challenging team to play against. After 12 games, Klopp’s team does, in fact, have the joint-worst defense (10 goals conceded, tied with Arsenal).

But according to remarks cited by The Liverpool Echo, Klopp has been advised to act quickly and recruit two more players in January.

Jermaine Pennant, a former winger for the Reds, had nothing but praise for those who arrived in the summer. However, Pennant feels that the addition of Andre (Fluminense) and Lloyd Kelly (Bournemouth) would prevent issues before they started.

“We’ve seen how well the players have settled into the side since the season began, but I said it was too early in early October,”

Like water on a duck’s back, they have all adapted to life in the Premier League. Ryan Gravenberch, Alexis Mac Allister, and Dominik Szoboszlai have all shown really strong.

The emphasis was on how at ease they appear to be. The midfield has clicked, and their front five is capable of greatness, as we all know! Everything appears to be in order presently.

Regarding the specific requirements needed to build on Liverpool’s excellent start, Pennant continued, “I think that could be their Achilles heel, so Liverpool might get a strong center-back in January if there are any injuries.”

It’s going really well for Liverpool this season, in my opinion.

“In January, I’d like to see Lloyd Kelly join as a defender who can play left- and center-back, and I’d like to see Andre Trindade join as a number six.”

Kelly’s favorite team is Liverpool; Andre can afford to pay £30m.

Kelly, 25, appears to be planning to travel at some point in 2024. At season’s end, the Cherries defender’s contract expires, and there are currently no indications that he will sign a new one.

Liverpool is the favorite over other interested teams Tottenham, AC Milan, and Juventus, according to recent reports.

A January transfer in the range of £25 million to £30 million appears possible, although Bournemouth will undoubtedly be hesitant to part with what is likely their finest defender in the middle of the season.

During the summer, Liverpool looked at signing Fluminense defender Andre. While competing in the Copa Libertadores, which Fluminense won, the 22-year-old was not sold by Fluminense. However, since the competition is over, an investigation may yield different results in January.

According to Football Insider, Fluminense will accept a bid of £30 million during the winter transfer window.

Particularly that move seems like it could work, but it’s unclear if Liverpool’s interest has persisted.

One publication that has consistently claimed Liverpool is not actively pursuing Andre before the January window is The Liverpool Echo.
