Bills’ Josh Allen fined for his unsportsmanlike…..
The Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen is so fun to watch, even during this slump the team is facing on offense. He’s an elite QB playing at a high level, even with a few hiccups along the way.
During the contest against the Cincinnati Bengals, Allen showed a little flair with a walk-in touchdown that he put a little something extra on. While strutting into the endzone, he pointed to the defender that he had juked out of his shoes for a hilarious moment.
Now, the game wound up going the Bengals’ way, but we still love the fire that Allen plays with on a daily basis. Unfortunately, the not-fun-league (NFL) decided that Allen’s antics were just a bit too much for their liking and they handed down a fine to Allen for his celebration.
While Allen is making millions, it’s not the news you want to get ahead of what feels like a must-win game against the Broncos on Monday Night Football. Buffalo needs to bounce back in a big way and have some positive vibes thrown their way, this was not that.
For simply pointing, the NFL found that to be way over the line, and imposed a fine of $10,927. Mind you, they decided to completely ignore the blatant tripping no-call that Dalton Kincaid had faced later in the contest.
This isn’t the first time a Buffalo Bills player had an awesome celebration that the NFL deemed was crossing the line. Just a few weeks ago, they handed down a fine to Stefon Diggs for his epic Stone Cold Steve Austin celebration with the fans.
Allen has a lot of fire in his game, and we have a feeling this won’t be the last time the NFL goes after him for being a little extra before or after going into the endzone. We love the way this man plays, we would’ve loved it more if the team had found a way to win.
