Fans, as well as some of Bottas’ friends, noticed that his name was listed alongside Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez, creating the assumption that he might be joining Red Bull as Verstappen’s teammate for the 2025 season. However, Bottas quickly denied these rumors, stating there was no truth to the suggestion and that he had no knowledge of such a move.

This mix-up on the website sparked numerous messages to Bottas, with people asking if he was indeed making a switch to Red Bull.
