Christian Horner Shuts Down Ferrari Rumours: “My Loyalty Is Fully with Red Bull”
Christian Horner has firmly denied reports linking him to a move to Ferrari, reaffirming his long-term commitment to Red Bull Racing amid fresh speculation from the German media.
Rumours recently surfaced suggesting Ferrari had approached the Red Bull team principal about taking over as their new boss. However, Horner has quickly dismissed the idea, calling the speculation unfounded.
“It’s always flattering to be linked with other teams,” Horner told reporters, including RacingNews365, “but my commitment is 100% with Red Bull. It always has been, and it certainly will be for the long term.”
Horner, who has led Red Bull since its entry into Formula 1 in 2005, is the longest-serving team principal on the current grid. Under his leadership, the team has achieved remarkable success — winning eight drivers’ championships and seven constructors’ titles — establishing itself as one of F1’s powerhouse outfits.
Earlier this season, Horner’s position had come under scrutiny amid a difficult start to the campaign for Red Bull, fueling rumours that he might be replaced. However, those claims have since proven false, and the team has rebounded with stronger performances in recent races.
Brushing off the Ferrari links with a sense of humour, Horner added:
“There’s always speculation in this sport — people moving here, there, and everywhere. But people in our team know exactly where things stand.
And honestly, my Italian is worse than Flavio Briatore’s English — so how would that even work?”
For now, any talk of Horner swapping Red Bull blue for Ferrari red appears to be nothing more than paddock gossip.
