In a surprising turn of events following the Monaco Grand Prix, the FIA has announced a detailed post-race inspection, with particular focus on Ferrari and its recent recruit, Lewis Hamilton.

Officials confirmed that specific samples were taken from Hamilton’s Ferrari car as part of the standard post-race scrutineering process. While the FIA has not indicated any wrongdoing, the decision to inspect Hamilton’s vehicle more closely has raised eyebrows across the paddock, especially given the British driver’s strong performance on the challenging Monte Carlo circuit.

“The FIA has collected routine post-race samples from multiple cars, including that of Lewis Hamilton,” a spokesperson said. “This is part of our ongoing efforts to ensure full compliance with technical regulations.”

Hamilton, who recently joined Ferrari in one of the most talked-about transfers in Formula 1 history, delivered a solid drive during the Monaco GP. Though he did not secure a podium finish, his pace and strategic execution were notable throughout the weekend.

The FIA’s inspection process is expected to be concluded within the next 48 hours. If no irregularities are found, the race results will stand as confirmed. Any infractions, however, could lead to penalties or disqualifications.

Teams and fans alike now await the FIA’s final report, which could have implications for the current championship standings.
