This slump allowed competitors like Lando Norris and McLaren to mount a formidable challenge, ultimately leading to McLaren clinching the Constructors’ Championship, while Red Bull finished a disappointing third, behind both McLaren and Ferrari.

Despite Verstappen’s individual success, the decline of the Red Bull RB20 has raised concerns about the team’s competitiveness going into the 2025 season. With McLaren’s driver lineup of Norris and Oscar Piastri looking increasingly strong, along with Ferrari’s acquisition of seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton alongside Charles Leclerc, Red Bull’s future appears uncertain.
