BREAKING: Lando Norris SWEARS at Verstappen, Hamilton Mocks S…read more

The 2025 Miami Grand Prix brought thrills, spills, and a few eyebrow-raising moments beyond the racing itself. While Oscar Piastri claimed victory and extended his championship lead, plenty of behind-the-scenes drama and unexpected antics made headlines. Here are five standout moments you might have overlooked:

1. Lando Norris Flips the Bird at Verstappen

Things got heated between McLaren’s Lando Norris and Max Verstappen right from Turn 1. Norris was squeezed wide, dropping him several positions. But as the race unfolded, he battled back — and when stuck behind Verstappen again, his frustration boiled over. TV cameras caught Norris giving Verstappen the middle finger during a tense wheel-to-wheel fight. Despite the moment of anger, Norris passed him and secured second place.

2. Hamilton’s Biting Radio Comments

Lewis Hamilton’s Sunday didn’t go to plan. After running strong in the sprint, the Mercedes driver struggled to make progress in the main race. Held up behind Charles Leclerc for several laps, Hamilton requested a team order to move ahead. When the call came too late, Hamilton jabbed back over the radio: “Have a tea break while you’re at it!” Later, when asked to let Leclerc by again, he fired off another sarcastic line: “Should I let Sainz through too?” Frustrations at Mercedes are clearly simmering.

3. LEGO Chaos Before the Race

In a fun twist before lights out, all 20 drivers took part in a LEGO-themed exhibition, piloting miniature LEGO replicas of their cars around the grid. The lighthearted parade saw Norris and Pierre Gasly bump into each other — thankfully without race penalties. The scene brought some much-needed comedy before the real racing began.

4. Piastri’s Awkward Podium Dance

Oscar Piastri may be dominating the season, but his celebration skills need work. After notching his fourth win of 2025, the McLaren driver attempted the popular “Griddy” dance on the podium. His stiff and awkward moves had fans and teammates in stitches. One commentator quipped, “Let’s just say his talent belongs on track, not TikTok.”

5. Brundle’s Grid Walk Struggles Continue

Martin Brundle’s iconic grid walk delivered more cringeworthy gold. The veteran broadcaster tried to interview K-pop sensation LISA but couldn’t get her attention — even with Sir Jackie Stewart assisting. Moments later, he mistakenly congratulated Conor Benn for a boxing win that wasn’t his, confusing him with Chris Eubank Jr. Just another day on the Miami grid.

The Miami GP wasn’t just about lap times — it was packed with emotion, comedy, and offbeat highlights that show just how unpredictable F1 can be.
