BREAKING: Lewis Hamilton Could QUIT Ferrari Season Ends, Says F…read more
Lewis Hamilton’s future at Ferrari is under serious doubt, with former F1 driver and analyst Ralf Schumacher suggesting the seven-time world champion could depart the team before the end of 2025.
After a much-hyped switch from Mercedes, Hamilton has had a difficult start with the Scuderia. While his teammate Charles Leclerc has shown strong form in the SF-25, Hamilton has struggled to adapt, prompting speculation about his long-term commitment.
Speaking on Backstage Boxengasse, Schumacher didn’t hold back: “Lewis is used to being at the front. At Ferrari, he’s not only fighting the car but also the team environment. If things don’t improve soon, I can see him walking away.”
Despite a brief spark with a sprint race win in China, Hamilton’s season has been largely underwhelming. A seventh-place finish in Saudi Arabia, where Leclerc claimed a podium, highlighted the growing divide between the two drivers.
Off the track, Hamilton has faced setbacks too, including negative press surrounding a failed business venture adding to the sense of a difficult year both professionally and personally.
While Hamilton hasn’t indicated any plans to retire or leave Ferrari early, insiders say pressure is building fast. Ferrari is known for its high standards, and unless the results improve, Hamilton’s time in red could end much sooner than expected.
All eyes will be on the upcoming races to see whether Hamilton can turn things around—or if his stint at Ferrari ends in a shock early exit.
