Carlos Sainz back in Ferrari for Lando Norris….. read more.

Carlos Sainz and Lando Norris, two prominent figures in Formula 1, found time to enjoy a dinner together in Monaco following the recent race in Imola. Both drivers, who reside in the glamorous city-state, are gearing up for the upcoming eighth round of the championship, the Monaco Grand Prix, scheduled for the weekend of May 23. This event is part of a European triple-header that has drivers competing on some of the most iconic tracks.

Sainz and Norris share a friendly bond, often seen supporting each other both on and off the track. For their dinner outing, Sainz arrived in style, driving his newly acquired Ferrari Daytona SP3, a luxury vehicle he purchased earlier this year in Monaco. This exclusive model, estimated to be worth around $4 million, boasts a powerful 6.5L V12 engine that produces an impressive 829 horsepower, making it the most potent non-hybrid V12 Ferrari ever manufactured.

Last year, Sainz received a Ferrari F1-75 as a parting gift from Scuderia Ferrari after the team opted to replace him with seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton. Subsequently, Sainz made the transition to Williams, where he has faced a challenging start to his debut season. Despite this, he has shown flashes of brilliance, contributing to Williams’ most successful year since 2018.

As of now, Sainz and his teammate Alex Albon have accumulated 51 points, placing Williams in a solid fifth position in the constructors’ standings. This marks a significant improvement from their previous season’s struggles. Sainz’s performance in Imola saw him finish eighth, just behind Albon, indicating that he is adjusting well to his new team and environment.

With the Monaco Grand Prix approaching, Sainz is likely motivated to close the gap on Albon and secure a strong finish. The race weekend will kick off on Friday with practice sessions, followed by crucial qualifying
