Carlos Sainz Joins Williams Racing In 2025, Lando Norris…. Read more

Carlos Sainz is set to join Williams Racing in 2025, with fellow driver Lando Norris expressing strong confidence in Sainz’s ability to compete at the top level of Formula One once again. Sainz’s time at Ferrari came to an end last season when it was announced that Lewis Hamilton would take his place for the upcoming season. During his career with Ferrari, Sainz secured four race wins and achieved 25 podium finishes, including two victories in the previous season.

Norris believes that Sainz’s arrival at Williams will be a significant boost for the team, which has been making notable improvements in recent years. He emphasized that Sainz’s experience from a top-tier team like Ferrari will be invaluable. “He’ll be back,” Norris confidently asserted. “Williams has been improving rapidly. They haven’t had someone with genuine experience from a top team, and Carlos will certainly contribute to that and help propel the team forward.”

There was speculation surrounding Sainz potentially joining Red Bull due to uncertainties about Sergio Perez’s future with the team. However, Liam Lawson ended up stepping in for Perez instead. Despite this turn of events, Norris remains firm in his belief that Sainz deserves to compete at the front of the grid, citing his strong work ethic and impressive performances on track.

Norris also pointed out that the upcoming regulation changes in 2026 could present a unique opportunity for teams like Williams to make significant strides in their performance. “2026 is a year when anything can happen,” Norris remarked, suggesting that Williams might find themselves in a competitive position as the new regulations come into play.

While Norris expressed some disappointment over the missed opportunities that Sainz faced, he maintains a positive outlook regarding Sainz’s future in Formula One. “It’s a shame because I think Carlos has proven himself enough in Formula 1 to deserve a good seat,” Norris stated.

The 2025 season is set to kick off on March 16 at the Australian Grand Prix, a significant event for Sainz as it is the same race where he celebrated a victory with Ferrari at the beginning of last season. This race will mark a new chapter in Sainz’s career as he embarks on this exciting journey with Williams Racing, and fans eagerly await to see how he performs
