BREAKING NEWS: Chicago Bulls Have Finally Ended the Deal Signed with Zach LaVine a Few Minutes Ago………

The Chicago Bulls agreed to a sign-and-trade deal with the Sacramento Kings on Saturday night, sending six-time NBA All-Star DeMar DeRozan to the Kings. The San Antonio Spurs were also involved, acquiring Harrison Barnes from Sacramento.

DeRozan’s free agency was a significant event this summer, impacting not just Chicago but the entire league. Many teams were reportedly interested in DeRozan, and his move now clarifies the landscape for other teams still looking to make trades.

For the Bulls, there’s still a major move pending. Zach LaVine remains with the team despite attempts to trade him. In a recent article by K.C. Johnson of NBC Sports Chicago, it was revealed what DeRozan’s move to Sacramento could mean for a potential LaVine trade.

“They also will continue their efforts to trade Zach LaVine—and now have two second-round picks to possibly attach as assets in that quest,” Johnson wrote. “Coincidentally, the Bulls and Kings held trade talks centered on LaVine before the DeRozan interest materialized.”

Johnson explained that the DeRozan deal provides Chicago with assets that could be used in a LaVine trade. Although Chicago discussed trading LaVine with Sacramento, the Kings ultimately chose to acquire his former co-star instead.
