Red Bull Considers Ricciardo for a Return Amid Driver Swap Speculation
As speculation continues over a potential driver swap between Yuki Tsunoda and Liam Lawson, Red Bull could have another reason to bring back a familiar face if they feel the need to make changes. While many drivers who are currently outside of Formula 1 have seen their reputation rise despite not competing, Lawson’s recent performances have placed him in a different category.
After replacing Daniel Ricciardo at Racing Bulls in late 2024, Lawson managed to outperform Tsunoda and secure a promotion to Red Bull as Max Verstappen’s teammate for the 2025 season.
