Red bull Marko Dismisses Max Verstappen ban after S…read more.
Red Bull Racing advisor Dr. Helmut Marko has dismissed growing speculation that Max Verstappen could face a Formula 1 race ban, insisting that such a scenario “won’t happen.” The rumors emerged following Verstappen’s aggressive driving style and recent on-track incidents that have led to scrutiny from both fans and race officials.
Verstappen, the reigning World Champion, has found himself at the center of controversy after several hard-fought battles this season, raising concerns about whether his conduct could eventually lead to disciplinary action from the FIA. However, Marko was quick to play down these concerns in a recent interview, firmly stating that Verstappen is not at risk of a suspension.
“There’s no reason to talk about a race ban,” said Marko. “Max is a hard racer, yes, but he stays within the rules. The media may try to build a story out of nothing, but the facts don’t support any kind of penalty of that magnitude.”
Marko also suggested that Verstappen is being held to a different standard due to his dominance in recent seasons. “People don’t like to see one driver winning consistently, so there’s always more focus and criticism. But Max remains calm and focused.”
The FIA has not issued any formal warning or indication that Verstappen is under threat of a race ban. With the championship battle heating up, Verstappen and Red Bull appear fully focused on extending their lead with no disruptions expected.
