Cadillac Racing has officially announced an updated driver lineup ahead of the upcoming World Endurance Championship (WEC) round in Saudi Arabia, confirming the much-anticipated return of four-time Formula 1 World Champion Sebastian Vettel.
The German driver, who stepped away from full-time racing at the end of the 2022 F1 season, will make his second appearance for Cadillac this season. After impressing in his debut with the team earlier this year, Vettel’s return has sparked excitement among fans and added a new layer of competitiveness to the Saudi race.
Vettel will join full-time Cadillac drivers Alex Lynn and Earl Bamber in the No. 2 V-Series.R prototype, replacing regular third driver Richard Westbrook for this round.
