Stunning Hamilton verdict issued by NEW F1 rival

Lewis Hamilton, widely regarded as the greatest Formula 1 driver of all time, begins a new chapter in 2025 as a Ferrari driver.

After 12 remarkable seasons with Mercedes, Hamilton departs the team with a record-breaking 14 championship titles—six drivers’ championships and eight constructors’ championships—cementing his legacy as one of the sport’s all-time greats.

Hamilton’s move to Ferrari has generated immense excitement among fans, eager to see his debut in the iconic red.

Meanwhile, Mercedes has gone to great lengths to honor his extraordinary contributions, culminating in an emotional farewell.

In a video shared on the team’s YouTube channel, Hamilton toured a Mercedes facility with former team principal Toto Wolff, now a competitor as Hamilton takes on his quest for an eighth world championship.

Reflecting on their journey, Wolff reminisced about their humble beginnings in 2013, when Mercedes had yet to establish the dominance they later achieved.

“There was no heritage in that sense,” Wolff remarked, pointing to a collection of historic cars and engines from their championship-winning years.

Among them were Hamilton’s six title-winning cars.

Hamilton expressed his gratitude, noting the significance of driving those cars, but Wolff turned the spotlight back on him, delivering a glowing tribute: “I had a really good driver in those cars. The best there has ever been.”

As Wolff and Hamilton transition from partners to rivals, their dynamic promises to add a compelling layer to the 2025 Formula 1 season.

With Ferrari aiming to return to championship glory and Mercedes seeking to maintain its dominance, the battle between Hamilton and his former team is poised to be one of the most anticipated storylines of the year.
