BREAKING:Christian Horner Makes Surprising Admission About Signing…read more

Red Bull team principal Christian Horner has made a surprising revelation regarding the potential signing of a Ferrari driver, sparking fresh speculation about future moves in Formula 1.

Horner, who has led Red Bull to multiple championships, has admitted that the team had considered a Ferrari driver in the past, though he did not confirm whether serious negotiations took place. His comments come amid growing rumors about Red Bull’s 2025 driver lineup, particularly with uncertainty surrounding Sergio Perez’s contract and the long-term future of Max Verstappen, who has been linked with a possible switch to Mercedes.

While Horner did not name the Ferrari driver explicitly, speculation is rife that he could be referring to Charles Leclerc or Carlos Sainz. Both drivers have been key figures for Ferrari, with Leclerc recently signing a contract extension and Sainz yet to confirm his future beyond 2024. Given Red Bull’s dominance in recent years, any move involving a Ferrari star would be a major shift in the competitive landscape of F1.

Speaking to the media, Horner acknowledged that top-tier drivers are always considered when assessing Red Bull’s future. “We always keep an eye on talent across the grid,” he said. “Obviously, Ferrari has some incredible drivers, and if the right opportunity arises, you always have to evaluate it.”

His statement has fueled further speculation about whether Red Bull is planning a shake-up in its lineup. While Verstappen is under contract until 2028, recent tensions between him and Red Bull’s management, including rumors of friction with senior advisor Helmut Marko, have led to whispers of a possible exit. Meanwhile, Perez’s future remains uncertain, with his contract expiring at the end of the 2024 season.

With the F1 driver market constantly evolving, Horner’s comments add intrigue to what could be a dramatic period of transfers. Whether Red Bull will seriously pursue a Ferrari driver remains to be seen, but his admission suggests that the possibility has at least been considered.
