The FIA has concluded its investigations into two Formula 1 drivers—Lewis Hamilton and Lance Stroll—following incidents during the 2025 Spanish Grand Prix weekend.

Lewis Hamilton Cleared of Wrongdoing

Seven-time World Champion Lewis Hamilton, now driving for Ferrari, was under scrutiny for an alleged infraction during qualifying. However, after a thorough review of marshalling data, timing information, on-board footage, and CCTV, the FIA stewards determined that Hamilton maintained appropriate speeds and did not breach any regulations. Consequently, no further action was taken against him .

Lance Stroll Receives Formal Warning

Aston Martin’s Lance Stroll faced investigation for failing to adhere to the mandatory post-qualifying weighing procedure. Instead of proceeding directly to the FIA scales via the pit lane, Stroll spent five minutes in the team garage before heading to be weighed through the paddock. The stewards issued a formal warning for this breach of Article 35.1 of the Sporting Regulations .

Additionally, Stroll withdrew from the race due to recurring wrist pain, leading to an adjusted starting grid .
