Red Bull driver reveals plans to LIVE with rival star……read more

Liam Lawson, the rising star of Formula 1, has recently opened up about a unique and somewhat surprising situation involving his former colleague, Alex Albon. The New Zealand-born driver, who was promoted to Red Bull Racing’s senior team for the 2025 season, shared his plans to potentially live with Albon, who is currently racing for Williams after his time with Red Bull.

Lawson had a breakthrough 2024 season, stepping into the Red Bull family during mid-season to replace Daniel Ricciardo. His strong performances caught the team’s attention, leading to his promotion to the senior team ahead of his VCARB teammate, Yuki Tsunoda. Despite Tsunoda’s considerable experience, Lawson’s results stood out, and he now faces the formidable task of competing alongside four-time World Champion Max Verstappen in 2025. Verstappen has been known for dominating his teammates, making Lawson’s upcoming season a significant challenge.

However, amidst the pressure of racing alongside Verstappen, Lawson remains close to Albon, and the two have even discussed the possibility of living together. The idea originated a few years ago when Albon, known for his good-natured personality and love of motorsport, expressed his dream of living near the Nürburgring. Lawson, who had previously raced in the DTM series in Germany, shared Albon’s enthusiasm for the area, which is home to the famous Nordschleife circuit. Both drivers enjoyed their time at the Nürburgring, and Lawson recalled their visits fondly.

“We used to go there regularly when we were both racing in the DTM,” Lawson reminisced in an interview with Auto Motor und Sport. “We drove around the Nordschleife in road cars—just a simple VW Golf and a Citroën C3. We’d stay in touch via Bluetooth and WhatsApp calls while driving, and I remember overtaking a BMW M2 and other sporty cars. It was honestly one of the funniest things I’ve ever done in a car.”

For Lawson, the idea of living at the Nürburgring remains appealing. He recalled how Albon spoke about having a house there so they could easily access the iconic track, which is known as one of the most challenging and thrilling in the world. The Nürburgring has a special place in motorsport history, and for Lawson and Albon, it represents both a personal connection to the sport and a sense of adventure.

While it remains uncertain whether they will follow through on this plan, the notion of two Red Bull drivers living together would certainly add an element of camaraderie and humor to an already intense competitive environment. As Lawson looks ahead to his first full season in Formula 1 with Red Bull Racing, it seems that his bond with Albon will continue to play a significant role in his journey both on and off the track.
