BREAKING;Red Bull Racing team principal Christian Horner C…read more.

Speculation is mounting over Daniel Ricciardo’s future as Red Bull Racing team principal Christian Horner sheds light on the team’s driver plans. With Ricciardo currently serving as Red Bull’s reserve driver, rumors suggest that he could be in line for a more prominent role in the near future. Horner’s recent comments have fueled these speculations, as he confirmed the team is closely evaluating its options for the 2025 season.

The spotlight is on Red Bull’s secondary team, AlphaTauri, where Ricciardo briefly returned to racing after replacing rookie Nyck de Vries in mid-2024. However, a hand injury cut his stint short, and he has since been rehabilitating while remaining engaged with the Red Bull garage.

Horner emphasized that Red Bull is committed to its policy of developing young talent but acknowledged Ricciardo’s experience and track record. “We’re keeping an eye on all our drivers, including Daniel, who has been an integral part of Red Bull’s history,” Horner stated.

While current Red Bull drivers Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez remain strong contenders, Perez’s inconsistent performances have sparked questions about his long-term position. Ricciardo, who enjoyed multiple race wins with Red Bull between 2014 and 2018, could offer a veteran alternative if the team decides to make changes.

As Ricciardo works on regaining full fitness, the possibility of his return to a leading role remains a hot topic. For now, Red Bull’s driver lineup for 2025 is far from certain, and the next few races could prove decisive.
