Due to “financial limitations,” Arsenal may decide not to pursue Amadou Onana in the current transfer window.
Het Nieuwsblad, a Belgian publication, claims that Arsenal cannot afford to purchase Everton’s Amadou Onana during current transfer window. The athlete, who is 22 years old, had expressed interest in joining the Gunners, but financial “limitations” have kept him at Everton.

Although Mikel Arteta made a significant improvement to his Arsenal team during the summer transfer window, the team still lacks three or four players. The Gunners manager has Amadou Onana tagged for the position of holding midfielder in order to find a replacement for Declan Rice.

After receiving a 10-point deduction for violating the Premier League’s Profit & Sustainability guidelines, Everton is in financial chaos and may face additional sanctions if they commit the same offense again. Numerous teams are watching this as an opportunity to jump on some of their star players, such as Jarrad Branthwaite and Onana.

According to certain speculations, Onana may leave Everton due to interest from Manchester United and Arsenal, two of the leading Premier League teams. The Gunners were viewed by many as the front-runners to sign the Belgian, but they are unable to complete a deal this month due to budgetary constraints.
