Brentford star appears to have lost an opportunity to represent his country.

When Bart Verbruggen of Brighton was given the starting position for the most recent international break, the Brentford goalkeeper appeared to have prevailed.
Due to this, he received starts in both the 2-1 victory against Ireland and the 3-0 victory over Greece, but he didn’t particularly stand out in either contest.
In particular, the latter made him appear unsteady throughout the game, with one slip-up resulting in the corner that led to Ireland’s goal.
As a result, there is still much disagreement regarding who should start for the Netherlands going forward, and there is growing speculation that Koeman would choose someone else rather than the Brentford starter.
Driessen undoubtedly believes this, as evidenced by his recent criticism of the goalie before the upcoming international break.
Mark Flekken needs to sit up inorder to claim his shirt.
