If the Chicago Bulls opt to undergo a major overhaul of their team this summer, there will likely be considerable interest across the league in several of their players. At the forefront of potential trade targets are Alex Caruso and Zach LaVine. Despite LaVine’s challenging contract situation, it could actually facilitate a trade at a lower cost than expected.

According to a recent article by Matt Moore from Action Network, there has been interest from the Sacramento Kings in acquiring both Caruso and LaVine. Moore mentioned that the Kings have engaged in discussions with Chicago, offering a trade package similar to what they had previously proposed for OG Anunoby and Pascal Siakam from the Toronto Raptors. The package reportedly includes Harrison Barnes, Kevin Huerter, and draft picks.

Moore also noted that while the Kings are eager to retain Malik Monk and are prepared to offer him a substantial contract, they may face challenges competing with offers from other teams like Detroit, Charlotte, and Orlando. This situation potentially enhances LaVine’s appeal to Sacramento, especially if they can secure him at a discounted price following a decline in his trade market value.

Sacramento is looking to bolster its roster with players of Caruso and LaVine’s caliber, aiming to elevate their current solid core to a level where they can compete more effectively in the competitive Western Conference.
