The NBA decided to postpone the Golden State Warriors vs. Utah Jazz game following the unexpected death of Dejan Milojevic from illness. The assistant coach was brought to a Salt Lake City hospital following the incident, which happened during a private Warriors team meal. Milojevic became a member of Steve Kerr’s coaching staff in 2021 and participated in the team’s 2021–22 championship run.
The Warriors vs. Jazz game was already cancelled by the NBA, and a new date for the matchup will be revealed later. Milojevic was a member of the Warriors’ 2021–22 NBA Championship-winning squad, when he was in his third season under head coach Steve Kerr.
