DONE DEAL: The deal between New York Giants and Las Vegas Raiders is done due to…….
Daniel Jones is finally back with the Giants.
Jones, who missed three games due to a neck ailment, will make his Giants debut on Sunday against the Raiders.
The Giants need to win if they hope to stay in the running for the wild card, even though it may already be too late at 2-6.
They take on a Raiders squad that has seen both general manager Dave Ziegler and head coach Josh McDaniels dismissed; interim head coach Antonio Pierce was formerly a linebacker for the Giants.
Jimmy Garoppolo was benched by Las Vegas in favor of rookie quarterback Aidan O’Connell.
Are the Raiders ready to be picked off, or will they be fired up and pose a serious threat to the Giants?

What Giants need to know
Running back Saquon Barkley told reporters after the game that the Giants’ loss to the Raiders, along with everything that happened during those sixty minutes, “definitely sucks” after a week full of hope, particularly with regard to the returns of Daniel Jones, Andrew Thomas, and Evan Neal.
Jones exited with a potentially season-ending knee injury. Neal went with another injury to his ankle. The Las Vegas club, who had not scored more than 21 points in any of the first eight weeks of the season, was also given 30 points by the Giants, who fell to 2-7.
Barkley remarked, “You gotta be a pro at it.” Can’t offer any justifications. We still have an extended season ahead of us.
