International midfielder suggests that,  if had Lampard not been fired, he might have continued at Everton.

Isaac Price has admitted that he could have stayed at Everton if Frank Lampard wasn’t sacked.

Speaking to the Belfast Telegraph, Price praised the former Toffees manager who gave him his senior debut.

Born in Yorkshire, the midfielder joined Everton’s academy at seven years old and rose up through the youth ranks before he was handed an opportunity with the first team last year.

Price made his professional debut against Boreham Wood in an FA Cup match one month after Lampard was named Everton’s manager. On the final day of the 2021–2022 season, he was given his league debut in a 5–1 loss against Arsenal.

In January 2023, Price made his final game for Everton against Brighton, and shortly after that, Lampard was fired. The 20-year-old then made the decision to quit Goodison Park in order to begin a fresh chapter with Standard Liege.
