In the midst of all the chaos behind the scenes, Everton star Jarrad Branthwaite has been a key member of Sean Dyche’s team. As interest in signing him rises, transfer insider Dean Jones disclosed to GIVEMESPORT how much they may be willing to pay for the 21-year-old.

Even though the Toffees lost by ten points, their ray of optimism has been Branthwaite’s rise to prominence as one of the Premier League’s most promising young players.

The defender from Carlisle, who has made six appearances for England’s Under-21 team, has played 14 games for them in all competitions thus far, highlighting his significance to Dyche and his group even if they might not keep him around for very long.

Prior to their 10-point deduction, Everton had a strong run of form and appeared poised to avoid relegation and potential demotion to the Championship. A large part of this success can be attributed to the elite level performances of Branthwaite, who makes a pitiful £15,000 per week. Hailed by Jones as a player who could make Everton a lot of money, in an interview with GIVEMESPORT, Branthwaite’s £1m contract now looks like absolute pennies considering how well he has performed in Everton’s back line. Back in 2020, Everton took a chance on the then-17-year-old after he had impressed in his 11-game stint for Branthwaite’s boyhood club, Carlisle.
