Everton has filed an appeal to challenge the Premier League point deduction they received.
Premier League managers assessed an automatic 10-point deduction to the Goodison Park team for violating its Profit and Sustainability policies.

It will now be decided by a brand-new, impartial panel whether the Blues’ punishment will be upheld in its entirety or diminished throughout the appeals process.

The largest-ever ruling in Premier League history is anticipated to be resolved before the current 2023–2024 season concludes.

According to a statement from the club, Everton Football Club has filed an appeal of a Premier League commission’s decision to dock the team ten points with the chair of the league’s judicial panel today.

“An appeal board has been designated to consider the case.”

The Premier League chair Alisson Brittain has also received a letter from Everton’s Fan Advisory Board requesting that supporters’ opinions be taken into consideration.
