Everton star to miss out on Crystal Palace clash.

In advance of Everton’s match against Crystal Palace on November 11, injury expert Ben Dinnery has provided an update on Seamus Coleman’s fitness.

Dinnery states that the skipper of the Toffees has a 25% probability of being available for the match on his website, Premier Injuries.

Despite having resumed playing for the under-21 squad, it is unlikely that he will play again for the first team before the international break.

It is often believed that forcing a player back too soon after such a long layoff can only have negative consequences.

It’s not what anyone would want to witness players repeatedly relapse and have to serve another lengthy suspension.

Also, Coleman is now 35 and his body is not recovering as it would have a decade ago.

When thinking about his return, that must also be taken into account. Moreover, he did not play the entire ninety minutes of the under-21 match.

When he does that, there’s a possibility he’ll make it back to the starting lineup, in which case he’ll put in even more effort during the international break.

Whether Dyche chooses to use him as a rotational option or to start him in every game once he’s well is still up in the air.
