Ecuadorian center back Willian Pacho is presently playing for Eintracht Frankfurt in Germany and is being mentioned as a possible transfer to the Premier League.

The Bundesliga star is expected to be chased by Crystal Palace, Everton, and West Ham, according to TEAMtalk’s Dean Jones on Wednesday.

Pacho replaced departing Roma-bound Evan Ndicka when he joined Frankfurt this summer from Belgian champions Royal Antwerp in a reported £8 million deal.

Frankfurt has the greatest defensive record in the Bundesliga through seven games this season, having given up just five goals.

The 22-year-old has been an important member of that backline, mostly playing on the left side of a back three that also includes Brazilian Tuta and Leeds United’s Robin Koch, who is currently on loan.

Marc Guehi, a player for Crystal Palace, is rumored to be joining Manchester United, hence Pacho is being considered as an eventual successor for the England international.

In light of this, there’s a chance that at least three Premier League teams may engage in a bidding battle for Pacho in January.
Pacho, an Ecuadorian born and reared, went through the Independiente del Valle youth system, the same one that produced Chelsea midfielder Moises Caicedo, who is valued at £100 million.

With Pacho participating in 17 games, including 16 starts, Independiente del Valle won the Ecuadorian League championship for the first time in 2021.

Like many South American players, Pacho left his boyhood club after 40 games and moved to Belgium in January 2022, paying just under £5 million to join Royal Antwerp.

In his first full season in Belgium, he helped Antwerp win their first league championship since 1957, frequently in a back four with former Spurs player Toby Alderweireld.
