F1 NEWS: Lewis Hamilton Dismisses Criticism O…read more.

Seven-time Formula 1 champion Lewis Hamilton has downplayed the scrutiny surrounding his radio exchanges with Ferrari’s race engineer, arguing that the situation has been exaggerated. The British driver, who joined Ferrari for the 2025 season, has faced criticism for his at-times intense communication over team radio during races.

Hamilton, however, believes the attention on his messages is unfair, especially when compared to other drivers on the grid. He specifically pointed out Max Verstappen, claiming the Red Bull driver has had far more heated and controversial exchanges with his own team in the past.

“The focus on my radio messages has been blown out of proportion,” Hamilton said. “If you listen to other drivers, especially Max, you’ll find far worse. But somehow, my messages always make headlines.”

Throughout his career, Hamilton has been known for providing detailed feedback and pushing his team for strategic decisions during races. While some see his approach as constructive, others interpret it as frustration or complaints.

Verstappen, meanwhile, has also been vocal over team radio, often expressing strong opinions about Red Bull’s strategy and race performance. However, Hamilton feels the scrutiny on him is harsher.

As the 2025 F1 season unfolds, Ferrari fans and critics alike will be closely watching how Hamilton adapts to his new team dynamic and whether his radio messages continue to be a hot topic in the paddock.
